Save The Date! The Grand Avenue Gallop is September 27th! 🏃🏻🏃🏽♀️

We are so lucky to have such talented staff in our arts department. Last week Mrs. Hiel and Ms. Knitt took our 5th grade chorus to Bridges, Maplewood, and the Pines to share some songs they had been working on. 🎶 Ms. Yarnell and Ms. Grier have been working with 5th graders on their end of the year project! We added on to our courtyard. This year's piece is made of recyclables and made a living wall! 🌸 🌺

Grand Avenue Gallop...coming September 2024! 4th graders were asked to use their creativity and design our shirts for the upcoming year! Congratulations to our winner, Maddie! Maddie's design will be included on the front of our 1st ever! Grand Avenue Gallop shirt!

Today we had the privilege of listening to our 5th graders perform for their concert. They did a great job and we hope all of our families enjoyed the show tonight! Thank you Mrs Hiel and Ms Knitt for all your hard work to put these wonderful shows together! 🎶 🦅

Happy Read Across America Week! 📚 The third grade students at Grand Avenue joined Scholastic, US Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona, and Ludacris this morning as they read "Daddy and Me and the Rhyme to Be!" Students were able to join the live stream and listen to the story while interacting with questions and giving answers to the rhymes! What a one-of-a-kind opportunity for them! 🖤❤️
